Alcoholic popsicles and freezies have become popular in recent years. But sometimes a frozen margarita just doesn’t cut it. And there has got to be something better than simply spiking your 711 slurpee. We have your solution right here: enter the Dark & Stormy Slushy.
This latest frozen cocktail was a collaborative effort from the bartender at Home of The Brave in Toronto and Baron Samedi Rum. The Dark & Stormy Slushy is one of the most delicious Dark & Stormy cocktails we have tasted in recent years. Moreover the slushy aspect makes it the perfect summer cocktail.
Recipe
- 1 part Baron Samedi Spiced Rum
- 2 parts Jamaican Ginger beer
- 1 part Lime
- 1 part Simple Syrup
- 1 part Water
- Use a slushy machine for best results. If using a blender, omit most of the water and add ice cubes instead.
Combine all ingredients and blend. Top with fresh lime.
