It seems that the Marvel juggernaut can’t be stopped. In the ramp up for the worldwide release of Doctor Strange, the comic book franchise launched the first trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2. The epic sci-fi adventure will be getting its sequel next year, and judging by brief glimpses, it won’t disappoint. Star-Lord himself, Chris Pratt, will once again lead the cast of bandits. According to the small bits of information we’ve received, the film will focus on the Peter Quill’s mysterious parentage.
Several members of the cast return, including Michael Rooker, and Karen Gillan. Along with Kurt Russell, these actors will likely play a larger part in the film’s narrative. When the first Guardians of the Galaxy hit theatres, the film quickly became a massive box-office smash. The film amassed over $770 million, making it one of the biggest sci-fi tickets of all time.
