As 2016 nears its end, we finally have some time to reflect on the year in film and television. “Best Of” lists are now making their rounds online, and we’re promptly clearing our schedule to catch up on the great flicks and shows that we may have missed these past 365 days. If you needed even more incentive to cram in quality entertainment, award season is now just around the corner. The 74th annual Golden Globes are less than a month away, and you’re going to want to take in the nominees. After all, how will you feel confident when it comes time to join your friends’ Golden Globes pool?
Stars Don Cheadle, Anna Kendrick, and Laura Dern, made the big announcements earlier today, as the three took to the podium at the Beverly Hotel in California. As the actors delivered the major nominees, there were clearly some eearly standouts from the group. Mel Gibson’s Hacksaw Ridge, HBO’s new hit show, Westworld, and the Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone musical romance, La La Land, all made the cut. The latter production also leads the pack, with a total of seven nominations.
To get a full look at the entire list, you can read all of the 74th Golden Globes nominations below. You can also catch the event itself, when it broadcasts live on January 8th.
