The always stylish actor was the honoree at the event and definitely received nods of approval for this formal Dolce & Gabbana look.

On Monday evening Ryan Reynolds hit the 2014 Angel Ball at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City. Reynolds looked dapper as ever wearing a peak-lapel two-button, black dress shirt, navy bowtie, and lace-up shoes, all courtesy of Gucci. Of course.

Need more Gucci? Eddie Redmayne hit the red carpet in New York earlier this week for the premiere of The Theory of Everything sporting a dark-blue velvet suit from the label’s fall/winter 2014 collection. Definitely, velvet done right.
