First, we gave you Burberry’s Brit Rhythm. Now, we’re offering a bigger, louder and more fragrant punch with the British luxury house’s amped-up version of its favoured eau. Put your hands together for: Burberry Brit Rhythm Intense EDT.
While equally inspired by the UK’s rock-music scene, Intense is stronger in character than its predecessor, has a little extra liquid testosterone and is infused with a whole lot of extra leather notes, proving it’s the alpha male of the series. The juice opens with fresh and spicy accords of sage, pepper, wormwood, peppermint and caraway. Its heart includes intense notes of patchouli, amber and the afore-mentioned leather, and the finale is complete with warm and sultry tonka bean, cashmere and guaiac wood. The overall effect: aromatic, balsamic and animalic—a very heady, masculine combination.
Add a proverbial drumroll from the London band These New Puritans’ George Barnett into the mix who, with model and actress Suki Waterhouse, is steaming up TV screens in the perfume’s ad campaigns and you’ve got a high voltage fragrance. Which, by the way, is replete with the same ultra cool, grey metallic, studded bottle as the original scent. After all, a good vibe is always solid, especially when the volume’s turned up.
Burberry Brit Rhythm comes in 90 ml for $97. It’s available at burberry.com as well as the Hudson’s Bay and Holt Renfrew stores across Canada.
