After lengthy delays and a major change in casting, classic rock fans are finally in store for an epic cinematic adventure all about Freddie Mercury and the boys of Queen. Earlier today 20th Century Fox dropped the debut trailer for the aforementioned film, and thankfully, it looks like it’ll be well worth the wait.

Aptly titled Bohemian Rhapsody, which is of course a nod to the iconic song of the same name, the musical biopic will tell the story of Queen’s meteoric rise to the top of the charts. Along with the behind-the-scenes look at songwriting, Bohemian Rhapsody will also focus on frontman Freddie Mercury, specifically detailing his intriguing and somewhat tragic life as an overnight celebrity.

Judging from the short teaser, it appears as though a good portion of the flick will delve into Queen’s incredible reunion during the Live Aid benefit concert. For those of you unaware of the performance, stop what you’re doing and watch it immediately. The infamous 21-minute set, which went down in the summer of 1985, is often regarded as one of the best rock shows ever to be put on.

The rest of the trailer shines a spotlight on the trials and tribulations of recording classic records. In a particularly amusing moment, Mercury calls out an executive for calling his track too long. “It goes on forever! Six bloody minutes,” says the suit. In response Mercury quips, “I pity your wife if you think six minutes is forever.”

You can watch the trailer below via YouTube. Bohemian Rhapsody hits theatres on November 2.
