Since its debut back in 2014, John Wick has been electrifying audiences around the globe. The series, which centres on the adventures of an ex-hitman with nothing to lose, has been both a massive hit at the box office and a fiery romp heralded by many respected movie critics.
Lead by iconic actor Keanu Reeves, the now-trilogy has quickly risen to become one of the most unexpected cult classics in recent memory. In fact, the first two instalments currently hold 87% and 89% respectively on Rotten Tomatoes — a pretty incredible feat for a gunslinging blockbuster flick.
Given all of this, fans of the character are no doubt incredibly excited for the latest addition to the slick franchise. John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum is due out in a matter of weeks now, and judging from some leaked set photos, we’re in for a very wild ride. According to a brief synopsis, the threequel will show us how John deals with the deadly Continental assassins, who are pursuing him thanks to a broken oath.
As always, the flick will star Keanu Reeves in the titular role, with support this time from Halle Berry, Ruby Rose, and Hiroyuki Sanada. Reeves will also reunite with old Matrix castmate Laurence Fishburne who plays the gritty Bowery King. You can check out the awesome trailer below.
