Having An Orgasm A Day Could Cut Your Risk Of Prostate Cancer

Looking for another reason to build orgasms into your daily routine?

New research shows that men who have one orgasm a day could significantly reduce the risk of developing prostate cancer.

Doctors say that sex itself is not required, just ejaculation.  Whether it be sexual intercourse, nocturnal emission, or masturbation, all are beneficial and will reduce the risk of prostate cancer by nearly a quarter.

An orgasm a day also provides a number of other health benefits including a boost to the immune system, better sleep and can even protect against heart disease.

Scientists at the Harvard Medical School and Brigham and Women Hospital carried out the study that showed that the participants who ejaculated more than 21 times a month were at a 22 per cent lower risk of developing prostate cancer.

Prostate cancer is the most common cancer among men other than skin cancer. About 1 in 7 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer during their lifetime. About 6 cases in 10 are diagnosed in men aged 65 or older. The average age at the time of diagnosis is about 66. About 1 in 38 men will die of prostate cancer.
