Get ready to update your mobile devices, because a ton of emoji are headed our way. According to the good folks at Business Insider, we’ll be seeing 157 new icons in the near future, all of which are approved by Unicode: the computer industry standard for character tables.

The hefty upgrade doesn’t have an official release date as of yet, but we’re already getting an extensive look at the forthcoming emoji themselves. Much like the previous entries, this fresh new batch will be full of both incredibly useful expressions, as well as super niche options that won’t be used on a regular basis.

Thankfully for us, Emojipedia has already compiled all 157 of the unique symbols and even animated them into a short teaser video. All of these will, of course, be available on iOS devices like iPhones, iPads and Apple Watches. If you happen to be an Android user, the upcoming icons will also land onto all of your keypads. To get a sneak peek at the designs, check out the video below which was cooked up by Emojipedia’s YouTube team.

It’s important to note, however, that these models have not been confirmed by Unicode, so don’t get too acquainted with the colourful new characters. In related news, find out why Apple may discontinue production on the iPhone X.
