NBA legend and former Milwaukee Bucks star Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and actor Robert Hays have reunited for a new TV commercial touting Wisconsin tourism and spoofing the comedy classic, Airplane.
The two stars of the 1980 comedy hit reprise their roles as Roger Murdock and Ted Striker in the 30-second clip that features the characters flying low over a Wisconsin shoreline, reciting some of Airplane’s classic bits and praising Wisconsin’s beautiful landscape and fun events.
