A police car dash-cam video of Reese Witherspoon’s recent disorderly-conduct arrest has hit the web.
In video of the April 19th early-morning incident in Atlanta, posted Thursday by TMZ, the 37-year-old Academy Award winning actress tries to interfere as her husband, Jim Toth is being administered a field sobriety test by Trooper First Class J. Pyland. In the video the officer tells Witherspoon to stay in the couple’s vehicle no fewer than five times.
In addition to lying about being pregnant and her now-infamous “You’re about to find out who I am!” declaration, Witherspoon repeatedly claims that she’s an “American citizen” and expresses disbelief with the cop’s warnings which led to her eventually getting handcuffed.
TMZ posted the crazy video from the trooper’s vehicle hours after Witherspoon appeared on ABC’s Good Morning America to apologize for her drunken behavior. Toth was charged with drunken driving and is due in court May 23. Witherspoon faces a May 22 court hearing on the disorderly conduct charge.
