SPOILER WARNING: If you have yet to watch last night’s episode of ‘Game of Thrones’ it’s probably best that you avoid all of these big spoilers below.

Are you still reading? Ok, perfect! Well, it’s safe to say that most of us are still reeling from the chaos that ensued during a very bloody “Long Night”. After eight intense seasons of build up, audiences finally witnessed a fateful end to the evil Night King. Of course, while Jon and Dany led the charge with their combined forces, Arya “killing machine” Stark was the one to dish out major damage via a Valyrian steel dagger and some slick combat moves.

Yes, Sunday’s historic hour-and-a-half episode was an impressive feat to watch, even if it was a bit too dark here and there. Despite these slight technical gaffes, HBO, Game of Thrones producers David Benioff and D. B. Weiss, and director of photography Fabian Wagner put in some serious hours to execute an insanely immersive piece of television that we’ll never forget.

Even before the action appeared on our small screens, fans have long heard rumours of just how gruelling the production of “The Long Night” was on every member of the cast and crew. Well, now we don’t have to assume any longer, as HBO has uploaded an official behind-the-scenes video exploring just how the episode came to light.

To literally nobody’s surprise, “The Long Night” looks to be one of the biggest productions in modern media. In the 40-minute documentary posted earlier today, fans get an intimate glimpse at just how much work was put into the epic battle for Winterfell. If you’re ready to relive all of the crazy moments once more, be sure to watch the full thing below via Game of Thrones’ YouTube channel.
