Here are the Highest-Paid Actors in Hollywood

Above: Daniel Craig tops the list of highest-paid actors in Hollywood

Summer blockbuster season is finally in full swing, so it only seems right that we delve into the lustrous world of Hollywood today. And while us diehard movie-goers are mostly concerned with snagging pre-sale tickets to the hottest upcoming flicks, Hollywood’s biggest actors are focused on that next paycheque. Sure, they might not be raking in as much as they used to, but taking a look at their recently revealed salaries proves that our favourite stars are doing just fine.

Earlier this week, journalists at Variety posted a detailed look at the largest earnings from Hollywood elites. Most of the entries shouldn’t come as any shock, but perhaps the most surprising finding is that Daniel Craig has skyrocketed to the top of the charts. Thanks to his signing onto the forthcoming James Bond feature, Craig has beat out previous champs like Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Fast and the Furious staple, Vin Diesel.

Another point of interest in the salary list is the glaring lack of female actors, with only Anne Hathaway, Jennifer Lawrence, and Sandra Bullock cracking the top ten. Hathaway is set to star in Sony Picture’s Barbie adaptation in 2020, with the latter two coming into the fold via turns in Red Sparrow and Minions respectively.

You can take a look at the rest of the chart below. In related news, check out the electric new trailer for Director X’s Superfly reboot here.
