The Ice Bucket Challenge dominated social media feeds two years ago and now Mannequin Challenge videos are taking over the web.
So what exactly is the Mannequin Challenge?
Well, the Mannequin Challenge is a viral video craze featuring people imitating mannequins and dramatically freezing for the camera while Rae Sremmurd’s ‘Black Beatles’ featuring Gucci Mane plays away in the background. Of course, people are sharing videos across social media using the hashtag #MannequinChallenge.
The Mannequin Challenge is believed to have been created by a group of high school students at the Edward H. White High School in Jacksonville, Florida. The clip below surfaced on Twitter in late October and is the first known #MannequinChallenge clip posted.

So what does Rae Sremmurd think of their track being used as part of the internet’s latest craze? The hip hop duo had the most epic response during their Denver concert on November 3rd. The brothers’ had the entire audience freeze during the intro to the popular track and then uploaded and shared their #MannequinChallenge rendition.
