To promote the upcoming adaptation of Stephen King’s 1974 novel Carrie, viral video marketing company Thinkmodo created the following prank, unleashing a telekinetic, Carrie-like customer upon unsuspecting patrons at a New York coffee shop.
Carrie – starring Chloë Grace Moretz and Julianne Moore – opens in theaters across the country on October 18th. You will recall that Piper Laurie and Sissy Spacek filled those roles to great effect in the original 1976 Brian De Palma version.
