In the 1990s, Oasis were one of the biggest bands in the world. The British group had skyrocketed to the top of the charts with seminal tracks like, “Wonderwall” and “Don’t Look Back In Anger”. Fronted by the Gallagher brothers, Liam and Noel, the boys were poised to become eternal, rock star legends.
Soon after the hype reached a boiling point, the tabloids began to follow suit. The brothers were involved in drunken tirades and legal battles involving the composition of their songs. The band fell from being critically acclaimed, to becoming the target of critical analysis. Still, despite any negativity surrounding the group’s fallout, there is no denying Oasis’ catalogue.
Production house, Entertainment One, seems to agree. The company just released the trailer for Supersonic. The documentary focuses on the rise and fall of Oasis, and will be available on October 31st. You can cop the film on Blu-ray, DVD, and online streaming services.
