The first full theatrical trailer for George Clooney’s upcoming historical drama The Monuments Men has arrived and it looks like it may be a big Oscar contender.
The Monuments Men (an adaptation of Robert M. Edsel’s book of the same name) is directed by George Clooney, who co-wrote the script with Grant Heslov. It’s the true story of a hand-picked group of art experts chosen by the U.S. government to retrieve artwork stolen by the Nazis. Clooney also stars in the film along with Matt Damon, Cate Blanchett, Bill Murray, John Goodman, Jean Dujardin, Bob Balaban and Hugh Bonneville.
The Monuments Men hits theatre’s across the country on December 18.
