Small hiccup last weekend, missing the GB/SF OVER by 3 pts and a Green Bay win, also by 3 pts. As for the Bengals Wild Card game – leave it to Andy Dalton to go perfect at home all year… only to drop the most important game of the season. No matter, I’m 20-9 on the season, and ready for what’s sure to be, another helluva weekend! Let’s hit those Locks!
Lock’em
Let’s cut it short and sweet. Denver is rested and looking for revenge against the only team to beat them on home territory during the 2013 season. In fact, the Chargers were 1 of 3 teams to hand the Broncos a loss. But enough about that fluke team… The Bronco’s employ:
- a QB who has thrown 55 TD passes over an NFL high 5,477 passing yards
- 5 players with 10 or more TD’s each
- an offence that has scored 177 total pts in their last 5 games alone (that’s 603 on the season)
Finally, with Denver’s number 1 ranked Home Passing against San Diego’s 30th ranked Road Passing Defense, this should be a no-brainer. I’m not saying it’ll be a blowout, but bet the farm on Denver to hand the Chargers their final loss of the season, and grab that well-deserved Divisional title.
Andrew Luck squeezed out a win last week in one of the greatest post-season comebacks ever… but his luck has run out (#SeeWhatIDidThere). Indianapolis has only left Foxborough victorious twice in their last 14 attempts. Let’s face it, Brady has much more experience in the post-season than Luck. 8-0 at home against a team that left it all out on the field against the Chiefs, Lock in the Patriots, and grab the OVER for some real wallet lining! Yes, you heard me… don’t Lock Luck.
Leave’em
In the past week, Sean Payton painted a Seahawks logo on Saints practice turf and blew out two speakers in an effort to mimic CenturyLink Field’s notorious 12th man. With an important road win, the Saints are looking like that 2009 championship team all over again. Bettors, when playing in January, the Saints are 5-5, while the Seahawks are 4-6. I urge you to Leave this game alone – However, taking the UNDER may be where you find some value.
In Week 10, I urged you to Leave the Panthers @ 49’ers game, and unfortunately i’m going to have to ask you to do it again. Last week, the 49’ers barely grabbed the W against a struggling Packers team. In their last 5 attempts in Panther territory, the 49’ers have only won once, back in 2001. Bettors, your very own NFL analyst graduated in 2001. That’s a helluva long time ago! I see Kaep taking the game into his own hands with a lot of running, but I don’t know if it’ll be enough. Leave this game, but put a little juice on the UNDER.
Got a lock? Leave it in the comments below. Totally against our predictions? We’d love to hear from you! May you be among winners this weekend!
