Cher and Future teamed up for Gap’s new ‘Meet Me in the Gap’ campaign and have ended up creating one of the fall’s catchiest tunes: a cover of Sly & the Family Stone’s 1968 hit, “Everyday People.”
In the video, directed by Director X, the unlikely duo “meet in the gap,” each bringing their own signature style to the track. You can watch the iconic singer and chart-topping rapper’s take on the song below:
“When Gap said they wanted to team me up with a young artist, I knew it would be really beautiful,” Cher told People about her collaboration with Future. “We had a blast together.”
“It’s part of my DNA, growing up wearing Gap and now to see my son wearing it and in a campaign ties the whole family together,” Future told People. His 3-year-old son, Future Zahir, is already a model for the retailer.
