Earlier today Converse debuted the all-new Converse Jack Purcell Signature, a revamp of the iconic silhouette that was launched way back in 1935.
The latest evolution of the classic sneaker is more than just a simple facelift, with a total of 18 new features and benefits. Key upgrades to the classic silhouette include: a two-ply duck canvas upper, reinforced no-slip canvas heel counter, two-piece molded foxing construction with a streamlined toecap, and an Ortholite footbed with embedded Nike Zoom Air Technology. Polished aluminum eyelets and a wider heel stay display the craftsmanship in the construction, while a winged tongue and duck canvas eyerow create a seamless inner forefoot for added durability. The signature two-piece Jack Purcell smile in Converse blue, along with the return of the embroidered tongue, round out the details.
The new Spring 2015 Converse Jack Purcell Signature sneaker will be available starting this month for a suggested retail price of $100 CAD, at Converse.com and at retailers nationwide in White, Black and Mason.
