He’s back!
David Beckham is stripping down for the campaign launch of Hugo Boss’ new Boss One Bodywear collection. Shot by acclaimed fashion photography duo Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, the Boss One Bodywear campaign features stills and a short film featuring Beckham in a variety of fits including briefs, trunks, tank tops and T-shirts in minimalist black and white hues. The collection of men’s underwear essentials is crafted from a blend of cotton and elastane, offering all-day comfort.
“I once said that my body wear modeling days had come to an end, but when Boss shared their ambition for the range and brought in my good friends Mert and Marcus to shoot the campaign with their brilliant creative ideas I simply couldn’t refuse,” Beckham said in a statement.
Never say never. The 49-year-old soccer legend has previous starred in high profile underwear campaigns for Emporio Armani and H&M.
“The new Boss One collection is beautifully made,” said Beckham. “I’m proud to support Boss in our long-term strategic partnership with this campaign.”
Hugo Boss announced their multi-year partnership with Beckham for its men’s collection last spring. The collaboration with Beckham is the first of its kind for Boss Menswear and will reportedly include capsules and collections designed and curated by Beckham. The collection of just-released Boss One Bodywear photos marks the first underwear campaign for Beckham with the German apparel brand.
“The launch of the BOSS ONE Bodywear collection marks another milestone and a new chapter in our long-term strategic partnership with David Beckham,” said Daniel Grieder, chief executive officer of Hugo Boss. “It is also a testament to our joint dedication to style and excellence. Bodywear is an iconic product group, and with this campaign, we aim to inspire customers and fans of the brand worldwide more than ever.”
The Boss One Bodywear collection will be available online, at Boss stores and pop-ups across the country, and via select Boss wholesalers beginning on Saturday, February 1, 2025.
