To kick off our new on-going “Fashion Editorial Feature,” and the fall season, we recently spent a day with the dynamic design team (and happy couple) behind one of Canada’s emerging fashion labels. Toronto-based designers Zakariah Milana and Charlene Martin recently launched their contemporary men’s label Sons of Odin; to be carried at Holt Renfrew stores across Canada for spring/summer 2014.
We followed (and photographed) Zak and Char from their morning coffee, to a late night at their downtown Toronto design studio wearing simple denim staples and some of the season’s hottest (and most accessible) trends from a few of our favourite brands and retailers including: 7 For All Mankind, Balenciaga, Banana Republic, Chloé, The Drake General Store, DSquared2, EMU Australia, Express, Fred Perry, Gap, Fidelity, Isabel Marant, John Varvatos, Levi’s, Louis Vuitton, Love, Zooey, Moose Knuckles, New Era, Nike, Nudie, Oliver Spencer, Over The Rainbow, Patrick Assaraf, Shared History, Sons of Odin, Tommy Hilfiger, Whitney Eve and William Rast.
The looks? Easily incorporated into any fall 2013 wardrobe.
