Floyd Mayweather is the highest paid athlete in the world, and he spends his money with exactly the kind of frivolousness you’d expect from the person that lays claim to that title. For proof of this fact, look no further than the undefeated boxer’s jaw-dropping watch collection, which he showcased in a recent Instagram post.

“You know what’s crazy?” Floyd Mayweather said as he introduced his collection (transcript via BJPenn.com. “People are always in my f*****g business, worried about what I’m doing, what Floyd is doing, what Floyd ain’t doing, what I do got, what I don’t got. Just know, I’m going to stay in my lane. I ain’t gonna f**k with nobody, and I don’t want nobody f*****g with me. When I got on vacation — my fault — when I go on paycationfor 30 days, I take 30 watches with me.”
“You know what? What’s crazy is this,” Mayweather continued. “If we add 10 more days, I take 10 more watches.”
“Then I say f*** it, if I want the one and only, then I bring out the watch that costs $18 million,” he finished, showing off the most valuable timepiece in his jaw-dropping collection.
Floyd Mayweather last appeared in the ring on New Years Eve, in Tokyo, Japan’s Saitama Super Arena, where he took on 20-year-old Japanese kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa. While this fight was technically an exhibition — meaning the result didn’t end up on either man’s record — Mayweather fought like he was owed money, putting his young foe down for good inside the first three-minute round. Mayweather claims he was paid $9 million for this short night of work.
In his next most recent fight, which was a legitimate pro boxing contest, Mayweather took on UFC superstar Conor McGregor in a blockbuster crossover fight. It’s been widely reported that Mayweather earned north of $300 million for this bout. He’s made similar, wallet-busting paydays for fights with other big stars like Manny Pacquiao and Canelo Alvarez. Needless to say, he’s certainly in a position to cash out on expensive watches and other luxuries if he so chooses.
