Design house Azzaro has always had the Midas touch when it comes to women’s dresses and perfume and infusing them both with absolute sex appeal—all with an accessible quality. Luckily some things are transferable. The France-based brand creates men’s fragrances equally well and with just as much attainable sensuality and desire.
So much so that its latest fresh edition, AzzaroChrome Aqua EDT includes a heart-warming video of a handsome, bearded (and sexy), dad jumping into the Mediterranean Sea with his son. And who doesn’t want a spritz of that?
Seemingly transformative, the thirst-quenching aromatic eau de toilette opens with tart grapefruit, crisp green apple and earthy violet leaves before spilling into a blend of cool mint, herbal basil and salty sea water. Sharp vetiver and green cypress complete the elixir, giving it spicy, woody finish. Citrusy, wet and clean, zesty and earthy, Chrome Aqua is reminiscent of white laundry hanging on the line, seaside family vacations, sunshine-filled days and sultry sensual nights.
It’s one part adventurous, another part dazzling with a whole and overall feeling of joy and possibility. The fragrance is captured in the Chrome line’s slim, square flacon, but instead of the typical azure blue, this time the glass is opaque in a deep ocean green hue and capped with a subtle white topper.
AzzaroChrome Aqua EDT is $98 for 100 ml, available at Hudson’s Bay stores across Canada or online at thebay.com.
