This month? We try out Giorgio Armani, Armani Code Absolu for Men EDP
The Italian designer may be best known for his exquisitely tailored suits; styling department store windows; collaborating on films and dressing Hollywood’s sexiest men, like Michael Fassbender, David Oyelowo and, of course, George Clooney in said eponymous suits, but his fragrances are just as worthy of fanfare. In fact, over the past 40 years, Giorgio Armani, has mix-mastered almost 200 spritz-worthy scents.
His latest, Armani Code Absolu for Men Eau de Parfum is no exception.
Rift from the iconic Armani Code, Absolu contains the spicy, citrus DNA of its award-winning predecessor, but with a twist. Heady notes of intoxicating rum and warm vanilla replace the original tobacco and leather, giving this new parfum a sensually seductive quality. And it’s memorable, too. Particularly as it’s captured in Code’s ergonomically and aesthetically appealing curved cylinder, albeit this time gold with a black topper replaces the original blue-black glass.
Giorgio Armani, Armani Code Absolu for Men Eau de Parfum is $112 for 60 ml, exclusively at Hudson’s Bay stores across Canada or online at thebay.com.
