This month? We try out Libertine Fragrance Lucky Days EDP…
We will forever be freethinkers, seeking joy in spaces, places, experiences and perfume. Summertime brings us this joy through big and small moments, including the scented ones.
So, it makes sense that we’ve gravitated towards and spritzed on Libertine Fragrance’s Lucky Days eau de parfum. It meets us exactly where we are, while alluding to so much more.
Green and floral, the refreshing eau opens with notes of zesty petitgrain and citrus intertwined with heady jasmine. A blend of sweet orange blossom, dewy leaves and aromatic thyme add layers of warmth and sunshine, while intimate musk and bright vetiver offer a grounded and vibrant finish. The overall effect feels unlimited and joyful, as if our beloved summer days and nights have been captured in a clear glass flacon and are waiting for us to release them.
“In other words,” notes the niche Canadian brand’s founder and nose, Joshua Smith, on the perfume house’s website, Lucky Days smells like: “Impromptu plans when your plans fall through, sunbeams shining through your window.” Because after all, “luck is everywhere you want to find it.”
Mix-mastered slowly in small batches and packaged by hand, the vegan and cruelty-free unisex scent is a standout. It is also oh-so wearable and in our opinion, the perfect expression for him and him and her, for this sunny season and beyond.
Libertine Fragrance Lucky Days EDP, $197 for 50 ml and $290 for 100 ml available online at www.libertinefragrance.ca.
