Gap Is Releasing A Throwback Collection Inspired By The '90s

The 90s are back… again.

On February 7, Gap is releasing a limited-edition collection – the ‘90’s Archive Re-Issue – for men and women featuring iconic styles from the ‘90’s. The throwback Gap merch comes directly from the archives and includes mockneck pocket tees, straight-leg jeans, pleated khakis and heavy logo hoodies.

“The 90’s is having a sartorial moment and we have an archive of pieces that set the tone for that decade commercially and culturally,” chief marketing officer Craig Brommers said in a press release. “It seemed right to reissue some of those pieces and the stories that come with them”.

In addition to releasing a few of its best-selling styles, Gap is also releasing a ‘90s-inspired “Generation Gap” commercial featuring the children of a few OG Gap models alongside supermodel and Gap alumni Naomi Campbell. The Generation Gap cast includes: TJ Mizell (son of Jam Master Jay of Run DMC), Coco Gordon (daughter of Kim Gordon), Rumer Willis (daughter of Demi Moore), Evan Ross (son of Diana Ross), Chelsea Tyler (daughter of Steven Tyler) and Lizzy Jagger (daughter of Jerry Hall).

Ready to crush hard on the decade and pick up some vintage basics? Gap’s ‘90s Archive Re-Issue collection is up for grabs at gapcanada.ca and in select stores globally starting February 7.
