Eco-friendly clothing is big business these days and menswear company Haggar Clothing Co. is doing their part to help Canadian shoppers turn their closets green. The iconic brand’s eco-sensitive new LK Life Khaki collection features pants that are made with upcycled plastic bottles that would have otherwise gone into a landfill.
Haggar’s LK Life Khaki pants contain a blend of cotton and Repreve yarn, which is made from recycled materials, including post-consumer plastic bottles and each pair is made with the equivalent of seven recycled plastic bottles. The brand calculates that over 14 million plastic bottles have already been upcycled within the first year of production.
“Haggar prides itself on being one of the first brands to successfully appeal to today’s modern man by developing new products that fit his lifestyle and modern mindset,” says Brian Main, President of Haggar Canada. “The LK Life Khaki line is a fresh take on classic style and allows you to do something good for the environment, just by looking good!”
Haggar’s colourful upcycled pants are available in three different styles: slim fit (sits below the waist, with a shorter rise and a slimmer leg), straight fit (sits slightly below the waist, with a standard rise and a straight leg) and relaxed fit (sits slightly below the waist, with a standard rise, relaxed through the hip and thigh, straight leg).
The affordable LK Life Khaki collection is available at leading department stores across Canada, as well as online.
