Must-have: Zanerobe Sureshot Chino
Price: $150.00
Finding the perfect pant isn’t easy. In fact, it’s bloody hard, which is why so many men have enthusiastically adopted the current ‘athletic wear’ trend. And who can blame them? After years of confining one’s loins to the coarse fibers of raw denim day in and day out, it feels pretty damn great walking around in pillowy soft sweatpants. But therein lies the problem: no matter how tailored or fancy, they’re still sweatpants, and therefore inappropriate for really anything other than the couch, treadmill or long periods of travel.
That said, you’ll be happy to know that the Australian brand Zanerobe has come up with a solution: the Sureshot.
Boasting a number of cool features – elastic waistband with drawstring, elasticized hems, a faux fly, slant pockets, slight drop crotch and some slick inseam detailing – the Sureshot is not your traditional chino. Rather, it’s leaner, meaner and arguably the most comfortable pant on the market.
Made from a soft, stretch cotton that’s both durable and wrinkle resistant, the Sureshot is extremely versatile, pairing as well with a pair of Jack Purcell Converse and a t-shirt as it does with Cole Haan LunarGrand wingtips, a button-up and light sweatshirt.
If that’s not enough, the Sureshots come in a wide variety of colours and prints, so it’s not uncommon to end up with a few pair in the rotation. Here at AmongMen, we’re fond of the classics like khaki and burgundy, and may or may not be eying up the newly released black floral and black bandana versions.
A word of advice: Sureshots tend to sell-out fast, so giddy up if you’re interested.
