Paris Saint-Germain Teases BAPE Capsule

When they’re not dominating opposition in Ligue 1, Paris Saint-Germain are busy cooking up clothing with hyped up streetwear designers. It’s true! You may recall, the French soccer club making waves earlier this year thanks to a slick collection with Nike offshoot, Jordan Brand, which included jackets, sweaters, and kits.

Naturally, the collaboration was a resounding success and found its way onto pitches and influencer Instagrams everywhere. Given this early track record, it makes a ton of sense to hear that PSG is going back to the streetwear well once again for a new limited collection. This time, however, the squad chose to link up with iconic Japanese outfit, A Bathing Ape for some fresh and flashy merchandise.

According to informed sources at Hypebeast, the two parties will connect for an upcoming capsule that will include tough-looking outerwear options. The full breakdown of pieces won’t be available for a few days, but as of now, we know that we’ll be getting a red and blue camouflage jacket. Judging from early looks, the coat will be adorned with both the BAPE and Paris Saint-Germain insignias, and it’ll be complimented by chunky block text along the zipper portion of the torso.

You can check out a teaser image below via Instagram, and be sure to expect the capsule when it’s revealed in its entirety this week. In the meantime, peep another hyped up collab between IKEA and Virgil Abloh here.
