After linking up with Puma last month, Toronto pop sensation, The Weeknd, is strengthening his foothold in the fashion world. In an Instagram post sent out yesterday, it was announced that Tesfaye will be joining H&M as the new face of the company’s spring campaign. The collaboration will also extend beyond traditional advertisements, allowing the R&B crooner to debut his own signature attire. While the fine details of the “H&M & XO” line remain sparse, fans can still get a sneak peek of the collection. The aforementioned Instagram pic, shows the “Starboy” singer, dressed in a pullover jacket, complete with XO branding. You can check that out below.
Along with his Puma wear, the singer recently announced special tour merch, to be distributed at select pop-up stores. Those precise locations, along with other shirts and sweaters, can be found at The Weeknd’s official website here.
Tesfaye isn’t the only celeb to connect with H&M. Comedian Kevin Heart, and soccer legend, David Beckham, have both starred in multiple ads for the Swedish brand. Like The Weeknd, Beckham has his own line of casual clothing at retail locations. You can cop XO clothing starting this March. In the meantime, The Weeknd’s latest album, Starboy, is slated to drop on November 25.
