Microsoft brought out the big guns at this year’s E3 event in Los Angeles. After months of fueling rumours regarding an upcoming hardware release, the company took the stage this weekend and debuted an advanced Xbox upgrade called, Xbox One X. The new device is an enhanced version of the current Xbox system, and includes a ton of bells and whistles that are sure to make any gamer drool.
While the branding may be a bit clunky and the name a bit of a tongue twister, the Xbox One X more than makes up for everything with a plethora of graphic and internal upgrades. The new hardware is outfitted with a custom GPU engine that runs at an impressive 1172MHz. It will also come equipped with an Ultra HD Blu-ray drive, which will allow for stunning 4K graphics.
Last year, it was reported that Microsoft was working on a secret project known as “Scorpio”. It’s now become apparent that this was indeed the Xbox One X, which for the time being, is the most powerful game console on the market. The device itself will land in retail stores on November 7, and will have a slew of upcoming games to accompany it. You can watch the announcement trailer below via YouTube.
