We’re only a few days away from the official unveiling of the iPhone 8. Despite a handful of substantial leaks, Apple has remained relatively quiet regarding their forthcoming smartphone. What we do know, however, is that the company does appear to be leaning towards a fully-functional touchscreen with face recognition technology. There were also whispers of wireless charging that seems to have been validated by manufacturing data. Whatever the case, all will be revealed at Apple’s upcoming event on Tuesday, September 12.
Press invites to the event were sent out earlier today, and of course, they’ve already made their way online. Thanks to multiple outlets, we know that the festivities will take place at the Steve Jobs Theater which is located at Apple’s new campus grounds. Everything is set to go down at 10:00am PDT, and the event will likely include a string of product presentations.
Along with the brand new iPhone 8, Tim Cook is likely to show off fresh iterations of the Apple Watch, as well as an upgraded, 4K Apple TV. The company will also use the opportunity to show off their new Park in Cupertino, California, which is being hailed as one of the slickest and most advanced buildings in America.
Apple usually livestreams keynote events, so those of us far away will still be able to get in on the action. If you need a refresher of just how awesome their events are, find out what happened at their last function here.
