People Magazine has named Sandra Bullock the most beautiful woman of 2015. While this may come as no surprise to the rest of the world, Bullock laughed when she heard the news saying, “That’s ridiculous.”
The 50-year-old Oscar winning actress is more concerned with being a good person and mother than having people think she looks beautiful. “Real beauty is quiet. Especially in this town, it’s just so hard not to say, ‘Oh, I need to look like that,’” she told People. “No, be a good person, be a good mom, do a good job with the lunch, let someone cut in front of you who looks like they’re in a bigger hurry. The people I find most beautiful are the ones who aren’t trying.”
Bullock says most of her time revolves around her 5-year-old son, Louis. When she’s not working, her day is filled with carpooling, having “deep” conversations about her son’s love life, and making him eat broccoli.
The Blind Side actress says her son is also known to throw out the best compliments. “I was putting him to bed and told him that even when I’m old and gray and more wrinkly than I am now, I’ll still love him and want to tuck him in,” she says. “And he asked why I have wrinkles, and I said, ‘Well, I hope some of them are from laughing so much.’ And he touched my face and said, ‘You’re not old, you’re just happy.’”
This ageless beauty attributes her good health to maintaining a healthy diet and working out four to five times a week.
